She loved feeding everyone and always made enough to share with anyone who visited. She is the reason why I have become so passionate about cooking tasty meals! I have made your escarole and beans recipe for many many years for myself and family reunions. Everyone compliments how tasty it is and I can’t agree more. I have also made it with broccoli rabe and use some of the liquid from boiling it and add some chicken bullion to the liquid. The onions are what gives it that extra kick of flavor.....Sooo tasty and Italian yum! Sometimes I use onion rolls for the bread to skip sautéing the onions and it just as delicious. This dish and it’s flavor definitely reminds me of my mom’s cooking. Like you, I am so happy that she has inspired me to be able to make many great tasty dishes!!!Luciananoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1811396874956509095.post-41153270027455127952023-07-09T10:55:51.067-04:002023-07-09T10:55:51.067-04:00I'm a real fan of green bean and potato dishes...I'm a real fan of green bean and potato dishes and your recipe sounds terrific. I'm not sure I'm leaving this mess...Hello,

I'm not sure I'm leaving this message in the right place but I wanted to ask you about the cupalets. My husband's Italian family has been making cupalets for a long time. My husband and I make them too. We call them cupalets but I'm not sure of the spelling. We make them with veal meat and zest of lemons. We put the meat in pasta and then freeze them to use in our chicken soup broth. No one I know ever heard of them and when I tried looking for them or a recipe over the years online I can't find anything. Until today when I came across your site. The picture you posted looks like the ones we make. I was just wondering if you could tell me anything you know about them. I was always told that the word cupalets means "high hat". I'm curious because other than family no one I know ever heard of them. My email address is LMBocco@yahoo.net. If you have the time and you're willing to email me I would love to hear anything more about these cupalets.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1811396874956509095.post-28983060972974365052023-01-08T09:10:47.404-05:002023-01-08T09:10:47.404-05:00I find heart warming our mom's were even both ...I find heart warming our mom's were even both Capricorns born the same month.
